Set in the countryside on the edge of the Peak District National Park Shaw Farm is hidden away from the local town and neighbours. Each Static Caravan looks over open fields and hills so you can enjoy the views towards the Cheshire plains over which there are spectacular sunsets.
We offer six self-catering holiday homes available year-round for short breaks and relaxing holidays in the Peak District.
The great value static caravan accommodation is comfortably equipped for all your needs including free wifi, fully equipped kitchen, garden, picnic table and parking area.

A warm welcome awaits you on our 135 acre grassland working farm.
There is lots for you to see on the farm including the beef cows and their young calves, chickens, and plenty of other wildlife. A short walk to the top of our hill offers panoramic views of the area.
We use a traditional system on the farm so during the summer all the animals will be outside grazing in the fields which gives us time to do field work and harvest the winter feed. During the winter we bring all the cattle inside and we feed them every day with hay and silage.

We are in a perfect location for exploring the rolling hills, caverns, towns and dales of the Peak District and Derbyshire with many activities such as walking, cycling, rock climbing and sight seeing.
The highest Peak, Kinder Scout is only 3 miles from Shaw Farm. Site of the famous mass trespass it offers excellent hill walking and stunning views over Derbyshire and Cheshire towards Manchester.
Find out moreThank you for another great stay. We loved the brand new caravan, the boys were chuffed they could watch netflix as you have a smart TV and great WiFi. It was lovely and warm perfect as the weather was quite windy and rainy this time. But didn't stop us exploring the beautiful countryside.
Lovely views over rolling countryside, lots of walks straight from the door, the owners were very helpful throughout, van was almost new so in lovely condition and very clean and well equipped.
Shaw Farm is fantastic, we really enjoy stopping there any season, spring for swallows swooping over fields and the calves enjoying fields, summer for late sunsets, autumn for colour, and winter for cosy pubs, its always wonderful. Nicky, George and Graham are always helpful, efficient and we've never had any problems.
The whole set up with 6 caravans at Shaw Farm is wonderful. There are great views over the hills Plenty of walks to go on and lots to do in the surrounding areas.
A really quiet location where you can access some great walks. Caravan was to a very high standard, warm and had all the home comforts you would expect. We have been 5-6 times in the last 10 years and we still love it.
Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Van clean and well equipped. Pleased that there were good facilities provided for recycling. Interesting information about farm and area history in folder in van as well as a great deal of walking leaflets and tourist information. The only thing missing was a jigsaw for wet days!
Shaw Farm Holidays is just over one mile from the center of New Mills. A traditional market town with a range of local shops, small and mid size supermarkets, great cafes, takeaways, restaurants, pubs plus very good train and bus links to the surrouding area.

Manchester, only a half hour train journey away offers a wide range of activities including shopping, museums, art galleries, many large cinemas and a countless number of restaurants and nightlife to suit all tastes. The city now has an exciting modern and vibrant feel and is well worth a visit.
